General Rules Field
Rules Parking
is allowed along the entrance road to the field. Please allow enough room for
vehicles to enter/leave the field and keep the road open so that Emergency
vehicles can get in or out in the event of an Emergency. Please be courteous to
others when parking and stay in the same general orientation as the rest of the
vehicles allowing room to move freely. Parallel parking is prohibited.
Designated parking areas will be set up and will be clearly marked for the
event. Everyone
attending the field (playing or not) is expected to police his or her own
trash. There will be portable latrines on the field during the event. They will
be located in the common area between parking and Chrono. If you need to
relieve yourself please leave the field of play and utilize the latrines. This
is important to the health of your fellow players and for the health of the
local wildlife as well as the prevention of diseases caused by bites from bugs
and parasites that feed on human/animal waste. DO NOT RELIEVE YOURSELF IN THE
FIELD OF PLAY!! NOONE WANTS TO WALK, SIT, STAND OR CRAWL THROUGH HUMAN WASTE!
ANYONE CAUGHT DOING SO WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE EVENT. Players
MUST wear proper eye protection during every scenario AT ALL TIMES. There is no
acceptable reason to remove your face mask or goggles in the field of play. You
don't have to protect the rest of your face or head, but you must protect your
eyes. Full seal goggles, sealing ballistic glasses, paintball style masks and
wire mesh sensei style masks are approved for use. SHOOTING GLASSES ARE
PROHIBITED ON AFA FIELD! If you are not sure about a particular piece of eye
protection please get with an AFA member. GENERAL GAME RULES All
players and/or teams MUST read and sign a Waiver form before being granted
access to the field of play. Waiver forms can be obtained at the Chrono Table.
You can also download a Waiver via the AFA Message Board here: Field Waiver . If you do not have a signed Waiver
you will not be allowed to play. NO EXCEPTIONS!! You
are responsible for calling your own hits. We work on the honor system and
trust everyone to truthfully register when and where they are hit. During
a game if a player is eliminated from the game, that player must immediately
shout "HIT or DEAD!!", produce an orange/red death-rag so that is
easily visible to other players, and walk quietly back to Re-spawn, with the
death-rag visible at all times. Please do not talk to others until you reach
the staging area, and even then, please keep your voice down. Remember,
dead men don't talk! Do not talk to other players still in the game as you walk
from the battle area. Giving away opposing team member's positions is not fair
or acceptable. If
you manage to get to within 15 feet or less of another player, and they are not
actively firing at you, or possibly even pointing their gun at you, it is
polite and customary to say "BANG!", to eliminate the other player.
If the other player does not accept the Elimination, and raises their gun to
shoot, you have every right to let them have it at close range.....which WILL
hurt a lot! Use
of white BBs is basically a standard, but feel free to use whatever brand or
color of BB that you wish. Please
be conscious of where you point your gun before and after a scenario. Pointing
your gun at someone close to you, intentionally, or unintentionally, known as
"flagging" is not permitted. You have been warned! :-) The
sport of Airsoft is meant to be fun. People of all ages visit AFA Field every
week. Every player is expected to conduct themselves in a polite and
professional manner. Foul language and poor sportsmanship will not be
tolerated. We ask that any issues or concerns be addressed out of the field of
play. Yelling, screaming, finger pointing, taunting, accusations of cheating or
any other type of on field conduct that is considered unsportsmanlike will be
grounds for your removal from the game. Continued issues will be grounds for
removal from the field. AFA Field is a private field hosted on Private
Property. Allied Forces Airsoft and the owners of the Property on which AFA
host events reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone they/we feel may be
a nuisance or danger to others or themselves. EVENT RULES Weapon & Equipment
Rules The
sport of Milsim Airsoft by design is made to simulate actual military
situations and scenarios. We feel that it is important to keep the realism of
the sport intact. For Behind Enemy Lines we require that you stay within the
confines of the kit and load out that your character or weapon type emulate. In
other words, a saw gunner is a saw gunner. A rifleman is a rifleman, etc. A
player carrying an M-4 with a box magazine is not allowed in the same way that
a sniper is not allowed to carry a fully automatic sniper rifle. If you have
any questions please ask an AFA member or official on the field. No
homemade land mine or other explosive BB devices that have not been cleared by
a gun tech. This rule includes smoke grenades. Basically, if it creates a spark
and/or fire or is incendiary in any way, it must be cleared. NO EXCEPTIONS!! FPS Limits FPS
rules measured with .25g bb's 400
FPS Limit on all Assault Rifles 450
FPS Limit on all Heavy Support Weapons 500
FPS Limit on all Designated Marksman Rifles 600
FPS Limit on all Sniper Rifles ASSAULT

Top/Shirt - Any Civilian attire is permitted. Loose fitting long sleeve shirts
and jackets are encouraged. No Camo patterns allowed!! 2.
Pants/Shorts - Woodland BDU, OD Green, Blue Jeans or colored pants/slacks. 3.
Head Gear - No military helmets, boonies or contractor style caps allowed. Ball
caps, Shemaghs, etc. are allowed. There
are no restrictions to tactical vests and gear as long as the player is clearly
identifiable. U.S. Team: Army
ACU, 3 Color Desert, Marine Marpat, Woodland BDU and Multicam patterns are
allowed. Other patterns such as Flecktarn, Cadpat etc. can be used as well. There
are no restrictions to tactical vests and gear as long as the player is clearly
identifiable. Medic/Hit Rules Insurgent Team: If
you are a member of the Insurgent Team and you are hit ANYWHERE, you must
immediately Call the hit, produce your Death Rag and sit down where you are. At
that time a 5 minute clock begins to tick. You can call for a medic, be moved
to a safe area, bandaged by a Medic and then immediately return to the fight. The
designated Medics will have a roll of masking tape that will be used to signify
that you have been healed. You must remain where you are until you are helped
by a Medic. If you receive no help within 5 minutes you have bled out and must
return to re-spawn. You CAN NOT defend yourself while bleeding out. If you are
hit ANYWHERE a second time, you are dead and must return to re-spawn. Gun hits DO NOT count. A solid ricochet (a hit
off a hard surface that then contacts the player) counts. Rubber
Knife: One touch, you’re dead. (DO NOT stab or poke the player with the rubber
knife, a light touch will affect the same consequence. In such instance,
“killed” player is obligated to comply QUIETLY. Any
head shot from the base of the neck up is a fatal wound. A fatal wound cannot
be healed. If you are fatally wounded, you must declare yourself dead
immediately, go to the re-spawn area and wait 5 minutes before returning to the
fight. U.S. Team: If
you are a member of the U.S. Team and you are hit ANYWHERE, you must call for a
"Medic". A squad Medic must then locate you, move you to a safe area,
bandage your injury and allow you to return to the fight. You must remain where
you are until you are helped by a medic. If you receive no help within 5
minutes you have bled out and must put on a death rag and return to re-spawn. The
U.S. Medics will have a roll of masking tape that will be used to signify that
you have been healed. If you are hit ANYWHERE a second time, you are dead and
must return to re-spawn. If
healing you where you are is not practical, the Medic may opt to move you to a
Casualty Collection Point (CCP) so that he can get to other wounded soldiers.
At that time your clock stops. You can no longer bleed out. You are considered
stable for Medevac. A healthy Soldier will then request
a Medevac Mission via radio. If you are moved to the
CCP you CAN NOT defend yourself. A Blackhawk Helicopter (simulated) must then
extract you and successfully transport you back to the FOB (Forward Operating
Base) or designated re-spawn where you are healed. Your Commander will then
have to make the decision whether or not to fly you back to the AO or make you
walk back.
A fatal wound cannot
be healed. If you are fatally wounded, you must declare yourself dead
immediately. RULES OF ENGAGEMENT The
rules of engagement for this event can be found in the official team Forums.
The first Scenario and mission objectives for each team will be revealed in the
same way October 1st. This will give each team to pre-plan their movements and
strategies. GOOD
